Nilesh Gohil
Chief Business Officer – Media, Sokrati
Nilesh Gohil oversees Sokrati’s renowned Digital Media Business that includes Analytics, Brand and Performance Media, Organic media, and Tech solutions. Sokrati has become a part of dentsu since 2017 and Nilesh is leading Sokrati as the Chief Business Officer.
He joined Sokrati in 2014 and has played a key role in the company’s scale-up and transformation. His executive leadership, and his ability to collaborate with clients, partners, and cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems is what inspires everyone at Sokrati.
Nilesh has over 2 decades of management experience, including nearly 9 years at Sokrati in various business leadership positions; as Head of Customer Engagement for APAC at [24]7.ai.;  AVP at Deutsche Bank and various product engineering positions at Nokia (UK), Symbian (UK), Mphasis, Wipro, and Sharp.
Nilesh earned an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Dharmsinh Desai University.

Ashwini Kumar Das
Vice President – Client Operations
Ashwini is an accomplished digital marketer and Vice President of Client Operations at Merkle Sokrati. With a strong focus on SEO and Biddable Media capabilities, he has amassed over 15 years of experience in Key Account Management, Client Operations Management, Adtech, Digital Media Buying, and Revenue Management across diverse industries.
Having dedicated 9+ years to the field of Digital Marketing, Ashwini has played a crucial role in the growth journey of pioneering brands in India. His expertise lies in crafting digital media strategies, business strategies, client servicing and relationship management, account strategizing, campaign execution, and media planning.
In his current role, Ashwini leads the media operations capability, overseeing scaling initiatives, P&L management, channel innovations, and partnerships at Merkle Sokrati. He has successfully collaborated with enterprise brands across OTT, Fintech, FoodTech, B2B, and D2C sectors, driving their growth through integrated media marketing solutions.
Ashwini's career began in brand management consultancy and reputable companies such as JWT, Adecco India, JK techno soft, and MTLB. During his tenure with Merkle Sokrati, he has cultivated strong relationships with enterprise brands, assisting them in scaling their growth across verticals through digital marketing and integrated media marketing solutions.
Ashwini's passion for creating comprehensive funnel media strategies and annual operating media plans has been instrumental in solving business problems related to user acquisition, retention, incremental reach, and increasing market share within various industries. His contributions have significantly shaped our clients' digital transformation journeys.
KK Ranga

Currently working at Dentsu International as Business Head and Senior Vice President, he is a commerce graduate with a Management Degree from NMIMS, Mumbai, and a Business Leadership Program at IIM, Ahmedabad. He comes with rich and vast management experience of over two decades of multi-faceted professional experience spanning various senior and challenging positions in multi-national environments. He has steered and led highly competitive businesses across several industries including Telecommunication, IOT, ISP, consumer durables, IT, education, mobile commerce, mobile advertising, telematics, health, automobiles, ICT solutions, and Media. He has successfully led high-performance teams and managed multiple assignments as Business Head in various business verticals like Sales and Business Operations, Business Development, Distribution, Pre Sales, Strategic Alliance & Partnerships, P&L & Budgeting, Digital Transformation, General management in both B2B and B2C segment with extensive exposure in driving critical assignments throughout his career with a successful track record of running efficient and profitable operations in dynamic and hyper-active environments. He has been involved in processes right from the conceptualization and setup to operationalizing of BPL Mobile, Wipro Infotech, Bharati Airtel Ltd, Tata Tele Business Services, and Dentsu International. For his efforts, he has been recognized and rewarded for consistently displaying excellence in driving business.

He is a marketing professional with a knack for all things digital, technology, strategy, and out of the box thinking. He comes with 17+ years of experience in marketing, business operations, concept selling, and client servicing. He believes in rigorous planning and has an eye for detail and flawless execution. He currently manages business operations and delivery for strategic media planning and performance for marquee brands. He manages the spends portfolio of over $120M annually across multiple clients from different verticals like E-commerce, BFSI, OTT, D2C, Healthcare, Edutech, etc. He is responsible for 3 service lines comprising 200+ individuals. He leads the processes of hiring, training, and structure building across teams to ensure smooth and quality delivery. He is a member of the leadership team for strategic planning and business growth and is responsible for managing the cost-revenue aspect to ensure year-on-year growth. He handles growth hacking for aspiring brands in the market through strategic and technology-based solutions to help them grow their business and increase efficiency.
Dharmin Tailor
AVP, Business Excellence, Sokrati
Coming in with 8+ years of experience in handling operations and working in a team, he is actively involved in process-cum-change management. In his current role, he is involved in accessing, creating, implementing, tracking, and improving processes for a data-oriented Digital Marketing agency.
Prior to this, he had 2+ years of Property and Casualty Underwriting experience with a US-based insurance company at his role in Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, which involved policy servicing, data analysis, process training, order management, process improvement and implementation and leading a team of 25 individuals to meet the expected SLAs. He has also worked for about 5 years in the fast-food industry.

Srinivas Seshadri

Srinivas Seshadri leads the overall Search for us. He will take charge of the Media function for Large Clients at Merkle Sokrati in the next few months. Having started working in PPC in 2008, Srinivas has 15 years of experience in Digital, from SEO and Media to CRM. He has also worked on the Product side, having helped a few early-stage startups build and launch products to aid marketing initiatives. He loves discussions on attribution, optimization, and all things data. Outside of work, he enjoys training in MMA, woodworking, and basketball.
Tejpal Chani
SVP, Sales, Sokrati
With an impressive background in the Adtech and MarTech industry. Tejpal brings over a decade of experience in Customer Engagement, Attribution, Performance & Social Media Marketing. Some of you may already be familiar with Tejpal, as he is a boomerang employee having worked with us previously. During his time away, he has held key positions at renowned companies such as Singular, Cheetah Digital, Hootsuite, and 3Pilar Global. As our new SVP of Sales, Tejpal will play a crucial role in driving our company's growth and forging strong partnerships with our clients and partners. His comprehensive understanding of the AdTech and Martech landscape, couple with his proven track record in building successful sales strategies, will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious sales objectives. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Tejpal is an avid traveller and adventure enthusiast. He recently embarked on an incredible road trip throughout Canada and the United States, hiking the Rockies & exploring the beauty and diversity of the west.

Karan is an accomplished marketing professional with over a decade of experience in the industry. With a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for problem-solving, he constantly seeks new challenges and business outcomes. Karan joined Dentsu | Merkle Sokrati in 2013 and has held several key roles within the organization, spanning across media, martech, data science and CXM. As the current leader of product and technology solutions, he collaborates across service lines on innovations that can drive business growth. Throughout his career, Karan has gained in-depth experience in marketing strategy, consumer behaviour, martech, media planning, measurement, communication, research, solution design, consulting, sales and product development. His innate curiosity to learn, fuels his ability to quickly adopt new concepts and collaborate with teams and individuals of varying professional backgrounds, making him the go-to person for anything new. Karan is an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics.

Kunal leads a team that manages client strategy and handles diverse portfolios working toward the goal of client success.Kunal perused his MBA from the prestigious Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra that sharpened his knowledge of Marketing and Finance. With over 15 years of experience, he wears several hats in Marketing, Sales, Business Development and Client Strategy. Over the course of his profession, he has achieved notable accomplishments like successful mobile marketing launches, India’s first super App launch, Major brand rebranding and much more!
At Merkle Sokrati, Kunal is instrumental in managing top-tier clients including leading brands in EdTech, Retail, Consumer Durables, OTT, Health Care and beyond.
